Brief Turkish Apricot December 2021/January 2022 Export Report

In December 2021 the Turkish Apricot market saw 8,924 tons exported, in comparison to 8545 tons in 2020. This is an increase of 4.5%.

December also saw year end exports of 46,349 tons in comparison to 43,312 tons in 2020. This is an increase of 7%.

At present, exports show no sign of slowing given current global demand despite much higher prices than in 2020/2021.

Exports are anticipated to stay strong until stocks become low short of the 2022 harvest.
