Sunflower Seed News 14.01.25
Oil prices and shortage of raw material have both been contributing factors to a price increase of sunflower seed in recent weeks. This comes as sunflower oil is the most competitively priced vegetable oil on the market. To put this into perspective, Indian imports of sunflower oil are up by 30% against this time last year. This comes as we see issues with Rapeseed, Palm oil and many more. All of this in conjunction with the devaluation of the EUR against the USD makes for a very poor buying condition, although it is widely anticipated that things may get a whole lot worse.
